WHAT IS IT?
We Need Bands (2.0) is a brand-new resource for the Bristol music industry. We’ve built an comprehensive list of venues, with lots of useful information - like who to contact to get a gig, and much more.
We’re also building an extensive database of local bands and musicians, which will be free to access for venues and promoters throughout the city.
WHO IS IT FOR?
We Need Bands is for bands, musicians, promoters, venues and anyone involved with the live music scene.
We Need Bands is exclusive to those in the Bristol area.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
If you're in a band (or perform solo) then head over to our Artist Sign Up page.
If you represent a venue, you'll need to request access via our Contact page.
WHO IS BEHIND WE NEED BANDS?
We Need Bands was started by Jon Spencer, who has been running events in the South West since 2005. He’s run over 400 events, worked in-house at several venues and worked with over 2,000 bands. He also set up and ran "The Underdog", the South West's biggest battle of the bands competition (2015-2017).
Jon Spencer splits his time between WNB and his design/marketing agency CAXV (www.caxv.co.uk).
